Claude in Chrome blocked sites and actions

Claude in Chrome narrowed its fully-blocked site categories to just adult content and known pirated-content sites; financial and other high-risk sites are now permission-gated (Claude asks before accessing) rather than blocked outright. Book 3 ch9 listed banking/financial, investment/trading, and crypto sites as fully blocked. Exact change date not published; verified 2026-07-23.

    Cowork mode availability

Claude Cowork expanded beyond the desktop app to web (claude.ai) and mobile (iOS and Android), in beta and rolling out starting with the Max plan; remote sessions now run on Anthropic's servers, so work continues with your computer closed. The book described Cowork as a mode inside the Claude Desktop app.

Scheduled task limits and cloud scheduling

Claude Cowork scheduled and recurring tasks now run remotely on Anthropic's servers, on schedule even when your computer is asleep or the desktop app is closed. Book 3 ch8 stated these run only on your awake machine and explicitly that it 'isn't a cloud server that runs 24/7.'

    Projects across Chat and Cowork

Chat and Cowork now share one home, with chats, Cowork sessions, projects, and artifacts together, and you can bring an existing chat Project into Cowork (import it or build a Cowork project from a local folder). Book 3 ch3 framed a Cowork Project as a separate 'room' from the Book 2 chat Projects.
