Short version: this site never asks for your name or email, never sells anything about you, and keeps whatever you type into the tools in your own browser. Here is the longer version, still short.
Who runs this site
nofluffai.guide is run by George Tohme through his business, Crash Test Apps (crashtestapps.dev). George lives in Lithuania, in the EU. The site is hosted in the United States. Privacy questions go to nofluffai@crashtestapps.dev.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools to see which pages get read, so we know what is useful.
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies. It records the page, the site that sent you, your rough location, and your browser and device type, and it does not identify you personally. How Vercel Web Analytics handles data.
- Google Analytics sets two cookies on this site (
_gaand one starting with_ga_) to tell visits apart. It records the pages you view, your rough location (worked out from your IP address), and your browser and device. For visitors in the EU, Google says it does not log or store IP addresses. The data is kept for a limited period set in our Google Analytics settings. Google Analytics cookies and how Google uses data from sites like this one.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
The free tools
Every tool on this site runs in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or to anyone else, and most tools forget it when you leave the page.
One tool remembers your entries: the budget tracker on the Book 3, Chapter 2 page. It saves them in your browser so they are still there next time. That data stays on your device. The tool's Reset button clears it, and so does clearing your browser's data for this site.
The newsletter
The newsletter lives on Substack at nofluffaiguide.substack.com. When you subscribe, you give your email to Substack, and Substack's privacy policy applies. This site does not collect email addresses.
Buying the books and joining the community
The books are sold through Gumroad, which handles your payment and details under its privacy policy. The community runs on Skool, under Skool's privacy policy. When you buy or join, those services may share some details with us, such as your name and email.
We don't sell your data
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- stop using it (you can object to how we use it)
Just email nofluffai@crashtestapps.dev. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
